EDUS is the official health application from Costa Rica's Social Security Fund (CCSS), giving you direct access to your complete digital health record from your smartphone. Manage your health information, view medical appointments, check medication prescriptions, allergies, and diagnoses all in one secure place.

Access your personal health data and that of your dependents registered at your health facility. Validate your right to healthcare coverage, review prescribed medications, and stay informed about your medical history. The app lets you check appointment availability and manage bookings for yourself and authorized family members through a secure login system that only you control.

If you're a contributor or pensioner under the IVM pension scheme, review your pension projection, contribution status, and credit line information directly from the app. Track your retirement benefits and financial obligations with the same security as your health data.

Record and track vital signs, test results, and body measurements manually whenever you need them. If you grant permission, the app can sync data from Google Fit on your device, automatically importing compatible health metrics so your complete health picture is available to your healthcare provider. Both manually entered and synced data can be sent to the CCSS for review by medical professionals.

Security and privacy are built in. Your data is accessible only through your personal user account and password—no one else can view your information without authorization. You maintain full control over who accesses your health records and which dependents you manage.

Getting started is straightforward. Create an account directly in the app using the registration button on the login screen, or set up your account on the online appointment portal on the CCSS institutional website. If you already have an account for web-based appointment booking, that same login works here. To create an account, you'll need a registered email address in the CCSS system; if yours isn't registered yet, update it at your health establishment.
